Cookies

SeeWhen uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage, all needed for the service to work and stay secure. SeeWhen does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner.
Essential cookies
- sw_session — keeps you signed in. Secure, not readable by page scripts, and expires after your session ends or you sign out.
- sw_device — a random identifier for this browser, used for fair-use limits and abuse prevention. It isn't a hardware ID and lasts up to a year.
Local storage
- Watch setup progress — saves your unfinished Watch on this device so a refresh doesn't lose it. It expires automatically and never contains passwords or sign-in tokens.
- Preview Watches — when you try SeeWhen without an account, those Watches may be kept on this device only.
- Browser alerts — if you turn them on, your browser keeps a small notification helper and push subscription so SeeWhen alerts can reach this device. Turn them off from your Account page or your browser settings.
Managing them
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, signing in won't work.
