Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 October 2026
SeeWhen is operated by FyldeLabs. This policy explains what information SeeWhen handles, why, and the choices you have. "We" means FyldeLabs as the operator of SeeWhen.
What we process
- Account details: your email address, whether it has been verified, and when your account was created.
- Sign-in and security data: passkey public credential information (name, created and last-used dates), a password hash if you use password sign-in, session records, and one-time tokens for verification and password reset.
- Billing details: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, price, subscription status and renewal or cancellation dates.
- Watches: the pages you ask us to monitor, your instructions and alert conditions, the values we read, check results and timestamps.
- Alerts: what's needed to send you an alert email and avoid sending the same alert twice. If you turn on browser alerts (Plus and Pro), your browser gives us a push subscription address and public encryption keys, used only to deliver the SeeWhen alerts you asked for. Turning them off on a device removes that device's subscription.
- Operational and abuse-prevention data: limited logs, check metrics and rate-limit records. Device and network identifiers used for rate limits are stored in hashed form, not as raw IP addresses.
What we don't store
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — only a one-way hash.
- Your passkey's private key never leaves your device or authenticator.
- Payment card details are handled by Stripe. SeeWhen does not receive or store your full card number.
Why we process it
- To run the service: create and check your Watches and send alerts.
- To keep accounts secure: sign-in, verification, password reset and session management.
- To manage subscriptions and apply your plan's limits.
- To prevent abuse, enforce fair-use limits and troubleshoot problems.
Pages you monitor
To check a Watch, SeeWhen fetches the third-party page you gave us and reads its content. When you use Discovery, your request is used to run a web search to find relevant pages.
Service providers
We use providers needed to operate SeeWhen, which may process data on our behalf:
- Stripe, for subscription billing and payments.
- Resend, for sending verification, password-reset and alert emails.
- Cloudflare, for hosting, storage and security checks.
- OpenAI, to interpret requests, run Discovery web searches and, occasionally, re-find a value on a page. Routine checks don't use AI.
These providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States, under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account, Watch and billing information is kept while your account exists. Short-lived records such as one-time tokens, sign-in challenges and check metrics are removed automatically after they expire or after a limited period. Ending a paid subscription does not by itself delete your account or Watches.
Cookies and local storage
See our Cookies page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your information, or to complain to a data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). You can delete individual Watches and passkeys from your account at any time. For other requests, contact ryan@fyldelabs.dev.
Changes
We may update this policy as SeeWhen changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
